As a member of 3D4E, I worked within a group of engineering students on several projects.
First Club Project
The first individual project for the club is to design a phone holder. This project is meant to ​showcase our CAD abilities and provide an idea of how experienced everyone is in CAD and 3D printing. We were given a week to create a functional phone holder. I designed a phone holder that is able to adapt to the size of the phone. After my first draft is printed, I plan to measure my bike's handlebars and attach the phone holder to them.
Holding an Officer Position
I was lucky enough to be selected as the Director of Social Media position and as the project manager for the main project of the year. I worked with several small teams of engineering students and helped ensure goals were met in a timely manner. The project was split up between modelers, printers, electronics assemblers, and coders.
