Clubs
I have been involved in several clubs. The club that I am currently in is UA SEDS. We have a launch date coming up soon!
Sophomore year I was involved in UA American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). During my first year, I was in the F1 SAE club.

I have recently joined the club, but so far I have worked with engineering students from several disciplines. As the only aerospace engineering, my role involves discussing expected problems and potential solutions. I have been working with a mechanical engineering student of the design of the housing and with two electronics engineering students to design the electronics housing within the main housing. We have a launch date for the week of November 14th.

In the club, I worked with several different Senior Leads. They had me design parts in SolidWorks, research parts for purchase, and adjust pieces to fit to an F1 car. The areas I was interested worked with the engine and aerodynamics of the car.

I joined the club to learn more about 3D printing and its possible applications. I worked with other engineering students on small projects and on a large project that involved all of the club members. The large project had us create models of the buildings around campus, print them, and create code to light up different buildings based on the input from a user.

I started by building a model rocket. After a successful retrieval, I designed and will be building a larger rocket with a more powerful motor. The goal is to create a rocket to obtain a level one certification in rocket launching and research rockets. This will provide me with more knowledge on their functions and abilities.
