WIFI-Controlled Rover

    For this project, I will be creating a small vehicle that is controlled by an app. To complete this project, I will: design components in SolidWorks, obtain electronics and materials for construction, modify parts to fit properly, attach circuitry and motors, code microcontrollers to interact with the motors, and code an app that will allow control of the rover through a WIFI connection.

Crane

    Shown here is the constructed crane that will be attached to the rover. The circle with two slits will hold the crane and be moved by a motor to allow the crane to rotate. The crane will be operated by syringes to represent hydraulic pistons and provide the crane with an adequate range of motion to move objects.

Chassis

    Shown here is a rendered CAD image of the rover. Not included in the image are the wires and tubing necessary for the rover and crane to function. When the rover is completed, an image of the CAD's real-world counterpart will be added for comparison.
